So I was reading this article the other day about the things your kids will remember about you. 1. was how u made them feel,2. How your relationship was with your spouse,3. Things you did, that were special. And all I can say I couldnt agree more. Kids are like sponges they pick up everything! But these things truelly are the most important. Im pretty ok with stopping to do dishes because my 3 yr old wants me to play cars with him, they can wait, these
are the things our kids are going to remember, its not going to be the small things like, mom left her shoes in the middle of the floor,or dad didnt put his clothes in the hamper until morning. No big deal.
I am my own person,I say what I feel, and do what I want. I am a very passionate and loving person, I do what I can for others, and If I can help them in any way I will. The best kind of people are the ones who know your story, and help you through it, and write it without judgement, and are always there.

Lately
I have been enjoying life with my beautiful family. Absolutely love it here, its everything i have dreamed of! Kids are loving it too! Landons 3rd birthday and Logans 6th is coming up, they both are so excited! Logan wants a white cake, with vanilla frosting, with the writing on his cake to be yellow. Landon wants a chocolate cake.
The school year is about over,it has literally flown by,i cannot believe it. Logan is growing up so fast.
I cherish every moment I get with him,and Landon! Being a mom is one of the greatest jobs in the world.

Its already been 2 yrs
It has already been two years since our son Logan finished his last Chemotherapy treatment at
Childrens Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. I am beyond blessed to say he is still doing well today.
Logan completed a year and a half of Chemotherapy and has made it two years without the Brain
cancer coming back. The statistics are if he makes it five years without the cancer coming back then
hes considered like he never had it. Logan has come so very far these last two years, I am just so
very proud of him. He is doing very good in Kindergarten, and I love the school he goes too.
Congratulations buddy, I am so happy you are my son, and my cancer survivor.
Here's some pictures taken over the years of Logan

My Boys are My Everything
Logan started Kindergarten in Riley about a week and a half ago. He is really liking school. I am so impressed with the Riley school district, I am so glad we moved here, I couldn't be happier. The teachers here are just remarkable, and you can see they really care about all the kids they teach.
Logan has been cancer free for 2 years now, so he only has to go and get a brain scan once every 6 months. I am so proud of how far Logan has come since that day of his brain surgery. He has matured and learned so much. I am one of his biggest teachers, I work with him daily to teach him new skills. I have been very lucky to be able to stay at home with him for his first 5 years, he will be going all day in Kindergarten this year. I will miss him greatly, but I know it is time to let him go to school to learn new things, and meet new people. I know he will do great.
Landon is staying home with me this year, he is not quite 2 1/2 yet. I will be working with him when Logan is in school to try and get him ready for preschool next year. There is so much they need to know nowadays its insane, a lot more then when I was young. Landon is talking a lot, and doing a lot of independent things, he doesn't like to hold my hand when we walk, he likes to guide himself, yeah I know I'm pretty sad, he's growing up, he is a toddler now.
My husband is so loving, and caring. We have been together for 6 years. Our relationship gets stronger and better everyday. I am so thankful for his humbleness. He would do anything for our family and myself. He really just wants me to be happy, and I am.

Logan and Landon have a wonderful bond, I am so happy that they look up to each other so much, they play together so well. I love to see them play and interact together, it makes me so happy inside. The boys love to color, and paint, and read books. Being a mom is really one of the best jobs ever. I am forever thankful for my beautiful children.

Being Happy
So my husband and I recently bought a house, and we absolutely love it. Its the size we wanted, and its a Ranch Style house. It has a basement too, which we definitely decided the house we bought had to have one. We have always wanted to live in Riley, and have our kids grow up here. We have been talking about moving here for 6 yrs! Well I'm so glad we finally did, I love it here in Riley. Logan will be in Kindergarten, and our kids will get to grow up in a smaller town.
I always strive to do better each day, to try and eat better, communicate better, strive to improve my marriage, strive to be a better mom, and spend lots of time with my kids, and to make the time to do things for myself. Most importantly I try and find positive in each situation. But I try to improve myself everyday. My family means the world to me.
My husband is my world, we have gotten thru a lot of hard times with our son, and worked together to make our marriage stronger than ever. My husband is a very supportive man, he is very open. In order to stay positive, u need to surround yourself with people who love and care about you.
I have the most awesome sister-in -law, she moved closer to us a couple months ago. She has made me realize a lot of things. She has a girl that's my youngest' age. They have a wonderful time together. When her and I are together, we are so happy. We can relate a lot, and laugh together like it's not a thing.

Landon is 2
Landon is 2! I cannot believe 2 yrs have already flown by. Landon is quite the talker, and he will say words you ask him to say, and he talks on his own too. His little cousin my niece came down and stayed a week and shes the same age as Landon and they were quite the talkers together, they had so much fun and I had a blast with my sister in law they will be moving soon and will eventually be only a couple hours away, I cannot wait!
Landon insisted on wearing these shoes and sitting like this haha
But anyway Landon is in size 2T shirts and 24mo-2T pants. He loves to eat his fruits and his vegetables, and he LOVES pickles. He is not picky eater at all.
He loves his trike!
Peek-a-boo :)
Love his silliness!
He loves to play with his toys. Trucks and cars are his best friends. :) He also loves to watch movies and cartoons, he likes to draw(on the walls) I'm trying to enforce drawing on the paper ha! I am so proud of Landon and I am so thankful everyday to have him in my life, I love you so much buddy!

Updates
Soo it is now 2014 and I cannot believe it! This year we will have a 5 yr old and a 2 yr old wow! Where did the time go?!
Logan is also doing very well he will be going to Kindergarten and this year has sure been his year to shine. I am so proud of what he has learned this year in preschool. He is very proud of himself too!
I wanted to make sure and post this picture because I feel this is very heartwarming. My sisters school class all wore grey shirts in honor of our son Logan having brain cancer.
This is definitely my new motto for 2014!! The quote says it all! I am who I am. I say what I feel.
My 2014 resolution is to make time for what is important. You can do anything you set your mind to. Life is too short to dwell or worry about things that really don't matter. Don't make time for people that don't make time for you. Always make time for you and your spouse to spend alone together. Do what makes you happy. Always forgive and forget, and give second chances. BE your own person, nobody wants to see a copycat of someone else.
Halloween 2013
I have started potty training Landon and he absolutely loves his Mickey Mouse underwear. Ha! He totally cracks me up and reminds me everyday how blessed I am to have 2 beautiful and precious boys.
