My Boys are My Everything

Logan started Kindergarten in Riley about a week and a half ago. He is really liking school. I am so impressed with the Riley school district, I am so glad we moved here, I couldn't be happier. The teachers here are just remarkable, and you can see they really care about all the kids they teach.

Logan has been cancer free for 2 years now, so he only has to go and get a brain scan once every 6 months. I  am so proud of how far Logan has come since that day of his brain surgery. He has matured and learned so much. I am one of his biggest teachers, I work with him daily to teach him new skills. I have been very lucky to be able to stay at home with him for his first 5 years, he will be going all day in Kindergarten this year. I will miss him greatly, but I know it is time to let him go to school to learn new things, and meet new people. I know he will do great.

Landon is staying home with me this year, he is not quite 2 1/2 yet. I will be working with him when Logan is in school to try and get him ready for preschool next year. There is so much they need to know nowadays its insane, a lot more then when I was young. Landon is talking a lot, and doing a lot of independent things, he doesn't like to hold my hand when we walk, he likes to guide himself,  yeah I know I'm pretty sad, he's growing up, he is a toddler now.

Logan and Landon have a wonderful bond, I am so happy that they look up to each other so much, they play together so well.  I love to see them play and interact together, it makes me so happy inside. The boys love to color, and paint, and read books. Being a mom is really one of the best jobs ever. I am forever thankful for my beautiful children.

My husband is so loving, and caring. We have been together for 6 years. Our relationship gets stronger and better everyday. I am so thankful for his humbleness. He would do anything for our family and myself. He really just wants me to be happy, and I am.

Being Happy

So my husband and I recently bought a house, and we absolutely love it. Its the size we wanted, and its a Ranch Style house. It has a basement too, which we definitely decided the house we bought had to have one.  We have always wanted to live in Riley, and have our kids grow up here. We have been talking about moving here for 6 yrs! Well I'm so glad we finally did, I love it here in Riley. Logan will be in Kindergarten, and our kids will get to grow up in a smaller town.

I always strive to do better each day, to try and eat better, communicate better, strive to improve my marriage, strive to be a better mom, and spend lots of time with my kids, and to make the time to do things for myself. Most importantly I try and find positive in each situation. But I try to improve myself everyday. My family means the world to me.

My husband is my world, we have gotten thru a lot of hard times with our son, and worked together to make our marriage stronger than ever. My husband is a very supportive man, he is very open. In order to stay positive, u need to surround yourself with people who love and care about you.

I have the most awesome sister-in -law, she moved closer to us a couple months ago. She has made me realize a lot of things. She has a girl that's my youngest' age. They have a wonderful time together. When her and I are together, we are so happy. We can relate a lot, and laugh together like it's not a thing.
